Default TLS Auth not forced

I've installed ZCS 6.0.4 OSE. In MTA tab (both global and server settings) I checked "TLS authentication only", did "zmcontrol stop && zmcontrol start", then configured Thunderbird to never use TLS and successfully send mail to myself using plain text. What's wrong here?

Is your TB on the same network (subnet) that the ZCS server?

If this is the case, there's no need for auth...

Also check the IMAP and POP3 tab in Servers, Allow Plain Text Authentication is unchecked. Although, if TLS Auth Only is enabled, this should not really open. Defeats the purpose.
