Shared contacts auto-complete

Hi, I have a shared contacts address book for couple of users, and I want to know if possible (since is not working) that when writing a new email be available auto-complete with contacts of the shared address book.
I'm using Zimbra Desktop and Zimbra Webmail interface.

In 6.0.x this is controlled by this option:
Preferences -> Address Book -> Include addresses in shared address books

I'm not sure if this is available in 5.0.x though as ZD (which is based on 5.0.x) has no such option.

If it is not in the web interface, you can check if it exists on the command line using:

zmprov ga user@domain.tld | grep zimbraPrefSharedAddrBookAutoCompleteEnabled

No, the only thing with "auto-complete" is zimbraPrefGalAutoCompleteEnabled: TRUE.

Did some research and I don't think this is available in 5.0.x.

Although this bug Bug 10478 - Autocomplete for shared address books I have access to shows it as working in 4.0.x as far as I know this was introduced in 6.0.x with the work being done in these bugs:
Bug 22969 - Move autocomplete to server to facilitate autocomplete from Shared Addressbooks
Bug 11141 - Need option to enable auto-complete from shared addressbooks
