Default redolog directory

Dear all,

Due to disk space issue, we disable the zmbackup process from zimbra's crontab, and we found /opt/zimbra/redolog/ directory almost occupy same size as /opt/zimbra/store/. we also found there're some files are for several days ago, e.g. : redo-20091205.xxxxx-seqx.log

Is it safe to remove these files?

Thanks.

Well.. your redo logs are your ticket to doing incrementals and restoring to a point in time. So.. if you don't care about being able to restore, then yes you can remove them. An incremental backup will move them out of place for you (assuming /opt/zimbra/backup is on a separate partition).

You can remove the old ones atleast dated before your last incremental backup.
