Checking outside mail?

Hello,

I'm new to Zimbra but I'm really liking it's functionality. I have a quick thought. Could the Zimbra website be configured to check outside mail instead of just the internal server?

I know I could use Zimbra desktop but it doesn't allow for the internal chat function which I love.

Any thoughts?

What do you mean by the 'Zimbra website'? If you mean the Web UI that you use to get your mail then go to the User Preferences/Accounts tab and set the external account there. A search through the forums will find you further details on this feature.

OK, slight oversight on my part. I've been through every settings page I could find and totally missed the extra options in the left side navigation pane.
