Default Zimbra 6 Briefcase Documents & Spreadsheets Documentation

Hi Guys,

I am having a hard time finding documentation regarding the new Briefcase Documents/Spreadsheet/Presentation features.

In particular these are the questions my users want answers for

  • Documents shows a version history but how do you access it ?
  • If the Document or Spreadsheet is shared can multiple people collaborate on it at the same time ?
  • If the Doc is shared to a manager and both users are editing the doc at the same time, is there a system in place that prevents the doc to be rewritten or is the user notified ?
  • Can the document created in Briefcase be downloaded and viewed with a word/spreadsheet/presentation processor ?

I tried to download a document with WebDav to a mac but when I view the doc it has no extension with it so Mac sees it as a Unix Executable ... what would be the correct extension to add ?

I think there is great potential with these sort of services but business users are sensitive to what it can offer without being counter productive.

Regards,

Default Spreadsheets

Hello, I upgraded my mailserver from version 5 to version 6 right now.
I did so because I could try the new spreadsheets. But there are no spreadsheets after upgrade.
I want to test it, but I do not know why there is no spreadsheets. :-(
