Default [SOLVED] Pre Building Domains? Possible?

We have a number of customers that are moving from their current hosting provider to our Zimbra platform. I had hoped that I could pre-build the domains and accounts so that it would save time when the actual cut-over to our server happened.

Our company also uses the Zimbra server for our corporate email server, so if we attempt to send updates to the customers that are moving, Zimbra attempts to deliver to the pre-built domains instead of the actual domains and the email never leaves the server.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance.

Have a look at Split Domain - Zimbra :: Wiki, this describes exactly the type of setup you are looking for

Thank you for the hint!

Is it safe to assume that to reverse the commands, I would reissue them leaving the final part of the command blank?

Well removing the split domain setup depends on whether you have Zimbra as the primary or secondary.

If you are using Zimbra as the Primary server, removing the config is as simple as:
Code:
zmprov ma bar@example.com zimbraMailTransport lmtp:zimbra.example.com:7025
To remove the catchall follow these steps: Managing Domains - Zimbra :: Wiki.

Thanks again. Yes Zimbra will be the primary mail server. The accounts on the old server will be deleted. And the steps in the link are the commands I was referring to.

Regards.
