Default Very slow

My Server is HP DL580G5
Raid Controller 128 MB
HDD S-ATA 500 GB x 4 Unit (build-raid 5)

Install CentOS 5.3
Install Zimbra

My problem is the mail system very slow, I check from TOP and found process ID but WA was very high.

Please advise for this problem.

Top and phoenix are both telling you your problem... your system is sitting there waiting on I/O. Your RAID array is not keeping up the performance level your system needs.

(wa in top for linux systems tells the amount of time the processor was doing nothing, but still blocked while waiting on I/O)

Thank you very much, I think the problem is RAID5 and S-ATA Harddisk.
I will try to solve again please advise for stable hardware.
