Default [SOLVED] old server name statistics

    hello..

I'm currently running the 3.1.2 version on fc4......but soon to upgrade to 3.1.3...

my question has to do with several old server-names appearing in the admin application under the status section...see attached pic...please

I believe that the old server status items are shown because I have renamed the server several times.

How do I get rid/remove the old server name status items from the status display...???

I have tried to do this with the zmprov command with no success..

Thanks in advance for any help with this...

What have you tried with zmprov and what were the results? Did you use DeleteServer? Does 'zmprov gas' list all the servers that show in the Admin UI?
    Regards

    Hello Phoenix....

I have tried several things with zmprov...all state that the server I'm trying to remove does not exist.

I just tried the 'zmprov gas' command and it only lists my one server..which is 'mail.hq.dadllc.com'.

Its as though once the statistics are gathered for a server...they are always there unless replaced by a new file or set of data. I've been hunting around in the directory structure looking for something that might resemble something like that but to date have found nothing.

The fact that the old statistics are displayed does not affect the usability of this product at all....just annoying to look at.

Sorry, ignore that last message - I seem to be having one of those days. I'll post again shortly.

I assume that 'zmcontrol status' just shows the correct server as well?

    Short-term fix:
    Code:
    [zimbra@qa21 mysql]$ logmysql
Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 19 to server version: 4.1.16-log

Type 'help;' or '\h' for help. Type '\c' to clear the buffer.

    mysql> DELETE FROM zimbra_logger.service_status WHERE server = 'old.server.name';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
Long-term fix: I filed bug 8966 for this issue:
