Default Recommended Upgrade Path for 5.0.14->6.0.3

I've just realised how out of date we've allowed our Zimbra installs to get, so need to plan an upgrade. My intention it to go to the latest 5.0.x version, leave things for a short while to make sure no problems have crept in, then update to the latest 6.0.x.

I have two simple and very similar questions on this:
1. Is it safe to go direct from 5.0.14 to 5.0.20 (or 5.0.21 if that is available at the time) or should I upgrade in steps?
2. Similarly: once running 5.0.20/21 and we are happy all is healthy, can I assume that an upgrade direct to 6.0.3 is the way to go?

I plan to move the Linux base from Debian/Etch to Debian/Lenny (or perhaps Ubuntu 8.04) too, but that we will leave for a few more weeks after the Zimbra update - no point changing too much at once or I'll not know at wich step I went wrong if things break!

Yes you can do what you've listed, details in this post: 6.0.3 Is Out & Recommended - always read the Release Notes before considering any upgrade (and the obvious backup).

Thanks for the very quick reply.

Not only will I have a full backup, I'll test that backup before proceeding - I have a VM in which the same Zimbra release is installed, which I occasionally restore the latest daily backup into to test things are well (I must get around to trying to automate that...). I have developed a healthy paranoia regarding backups over the years!
