[SOLVED] JavaScript Error In Reading Pane

Release 5.0.20_GA_3127.UBUNTU6 UBUNTU6 FOSS edition

I have a MS XP Professional Firefox version 3.5.5 client that will not display message contents in the reader pane nor in a pop-up window. The Firefox Error Console reports the following error when attempting to view message contents:

The problem is confined to this single user on a particular desktop. The user can view message contents in IE 8 on the same desktop and in Firefox on other desktops.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Disabled all Add-ons. Reinstalled Java JRE. Disabled anti-virus. All to no avail.

Any suggestions on further diagnosing or resolving this problem are appreciated.

Clearing the Firefox cache solved the problem.
