handheld synchronization conflicts

I have about ten users syncing their iphone with zimbra, including myself.
One of the user continuously has contact and calendar items being added to an automatically generated folder name "handheld synchronization/conflicts".
I don't get a single hit searching the forums using these keywords.
This user was the only user here running the outlook connector before we upgraded to 6.0.1.
I'm guessing this is a result of some fighting between active sync and the outlook connector?

Any ideas?
