Consolidate accounts

Is there any supported way to consolidate two or more accounts into one? Or do I have to set up multiple accounts on a mailclient and move them manually into one account?

You could export the data from one account )Preferences Import/Export tab) and import it into another account then remove the account you don't need any more, would that do it?
