Default Is it possible to set Zimbra act like a mail client? I mean to POP other mail server

Hi,

Currently I have a mail server running Zimbra. And I have a client which their mail domain and account hosted in my Zimbra.

Today they plan to run their own mail server for security reason. But they still want any email from outside their network keep received by my mail server and their mail server will do synchronize (or maybe doing POP) to my mail server.
So when their mail server down there is still a backup in my server.

They plan to use Zimbra as their mail server and ask me to do installation.
And actually I'm new to Zimbra too and I have no clue to do it
Will the new server doing POP to my mail server or doing synchronize? Or there is another way?

I tried to search this forum and google about this topic using terms "Zimbra Backup Server", "Zimbra POP other mail server" and other terms but I had no luck.

So I will apreciate if there is anyone who can provide any links about this topic or any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thank you
Aldhy

Use Fetchmail to get mail from another server, search the forums for the word 'fetchmail' there's several threads that describe how to do it.
