I noticed from earlier posts that you enabled the proxy on your server, you should never have done that and it isn't enabled by default in any install. I meant that you may encounter problems by using OES which has not been certified rather than a supported platform which has been certified.

| | I understand about OES2 not being "supported". I have installed compat-libstdc++ and now am upgrading to 6.0.2. I did not, intentionally, enable the proxy; unless it was enabled when installed. That's why i was asking about re-doing the nginx (cause i did not enable it and thus must be enabled when installed). What is the nginx package? zimbra-proxy? |

| | That's what i thought. During the upgrade, zimbra-proxy was installed. No option, that i know of, to not install it. |

| | That would happen if it was already installed and I believe it was.

The instructions in your post of course disable the proxy, but the rpm is still installed. So, when the OP does their next upgrade won't the ZCS installer will automagically upgrade and re-enable the proxy?
Wouldn't it then be a good idea in the long run to uninstall the proxy rpm, (and using YaST > Software is the safe SuSE way to do that)?
All the best,
Mark

| | The option to disable the proxy persist across upgrades and shouldn't enable it during an upgrade. It can also be marked as not installed with: Code: zmprov ms `zmhostname` -zimbraServiceInstalled imapproxy One can remove the RPM if one feels the need.
