A Howto for v6 Domain administration and delegation.

I've noticed a bunch of questions from folks confused about how the new domain administrators work and the whole delegated privs model works. Having figured it out for myself, I figured I'd put together a wiki page.

Right now for some reason the zimbra wiki page only randomly loads the attached pictures so I'm going to link the wiki version and a version in my Zimbra notebook. If a zimbra wiki expert want to help me out here, I'd appreciate it.

Randomly loads pics because the uploads dir has to be synced across the front-end servers, where as the page content loads from a DB master or slaves. (Either a bug in the crontab or need to lower the frequency a bit.) TinyPic or ImageShack are other options if you want to solve it that way.

As shown in your 2nd pic, if you've played with the 6.0 betas you'll notice in 6.0.2 we made a bunch of changes with a shift towards combo views & rights to make it easier. To that end vote/watch:
Bug 41837 - simplify domain admin creation
Bug 41615 - Need to distinguish and dig down into nested combo rights
Bug 41617 - Would be nice to have a tool to create combo rights
