SANEsecurity and SARE? Barracuda?

Does anyone have an updated howto for setting up SANEsecurity and SARE on Zimbra 6.x, have tried with the previous posts details however doesnt seem to work for me...

SANE

How about the Barracuda RBL's? Is it just a case of adding b.barracudacentral.com to the list? Do i need to set any score for it some where?

Barracuda you just have to register your servers IP's with them. Then add the rbl check to you server and that's it.

SARE NOTICE on there site...
IMPORTANT: Due to Ninjas being busy with lives, wives & hockey matches, SARE rules aren't being updated.

so i dont think so its good idea to use it

Barracuda: i managed to fat finger the host, so now it works

SARE: currently have this running on my other mail server, sendmail, and filters the type of spam i seem to receive; so whilst i accept your point, for me it is a good idea

Ok...for SANE, i set the clamav db directory and the user to zimbra:zimbra, the ndb/hdb files that it downloads still seem to end up in /usr/unofficial...

How do i include these new db's in clamav?

I forgot to update the SANE config with the zimbra clamav path, then this works:

[SOLVED] SaneSecurity ClamAV or FuzzyOCR SpamAssassin Plugins

/opt/zimbra/clamav/bin needs to be added to the PATH variable
