Default Trying to browse Zimbra LDAP using LUMA but tree not shown

Hi,

I try to browse ZIMBRA LDAP tree using LUMA, but no tree showed.
My LUMA setting is :
Hostname :mx02.swhara.co.id ( I use this full hostname, because when I try to use "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" LUMA show "Can't contact LDAP server" error)
Port:389
Encryp: No Encryp
Auth : Anonymous Bind
LDAP Option: Use BaseDNs provided by server

And the result is below.

I also try to use baseDN "uid=aldhy,ou=people,dc=910investment,dc=com" but the result is same like below.

FYI, this zimbra 6.02 installed on Ubuntu 8.04 running on VMWare 2.0 on Ubuntu 9.04.

I created aldhy@910investment.com on Zimbra and have no problem with mailing. I'm able to receive and send mail smoothly.

Actually, I'm new on LDAP, and I just try to learn more about LDAP structure.

Am I doing wrong with LUMA setting?

Any help wil be appreciated. And sorry for my bad english. English is notmy nativelanguage

BTW, this server is a UAT server, so it is ok for me reveal the details here. just ask me if anyone need more details.

Thank you

Aldhy

for uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra password

Connect from LDAP browser by this account and password.

@Mr. Phoenix

Thank you for pointing me out to the release notes. Currently I'm able to browse the LDAP after enable the anonymous bind.

And BTW, I have a production server which run zimbra version
5.0 on Ubuntu 8.10.
Currently having problem with the antispam and antivirus after last ubuntu update (accidentally update the perl too).
So I plan to migrate all account in this old server to the new server.
I already read the migration articles.
The problem is both has different version of Zimbra and different server arch(32 vs 64bit). Also I'm not sure, I think I made a lot of modification on the old server to make Zimbra running after the crash (actually zimbra totally down after perl update).

So is it possible to get the all account password in the old zimbra? How?
Because I do not want to notify users regarding this migration. But it is ok for me to create one by one about 250 account. So I only need to make sure the new account has same password with the old one.
I tried to browse using LUMA it does not show password.

Thank you
Aldhy

The passwords are, obviously, encrypted - you should search the forums as there's several detailed posts on how to migrate the user accounts and password to a new server. There is also a wiki article on moving from 32bit to 64bit.

Passwords are hashed and then stored base64-encoded. No encryption of the passwords, but since it is a hash, it's not particularly useful either.
