where can i find the backup utility which is suppost to be under that admin console - navigation bar - monitoring - backup...?

If you mean the one that's under Tools/Backups then there isn't any backup facilty for the Open Source version of Zimbra, that's a Network Edition feature. I'd also suggest you upgrade you Zimbra version to a more recent release, the version you have is EOL and no longer supported.Originally Posted by Geraldh

You don't need to do that, Spamassassin is already installed in Zimbra.
