[SOLVED] Zimbra 6 Autocomplete from GAL

Hi,
I have created a new user account inside a domain already on the server and that specific user cannot auto complete addresses from GAL.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

If you log into the user on a browser that has debugging tools, like firefox with firebug or chrome, do you see any "AutoCompleteRequest" requests to the server?

Hmm well it is searching, but finding nothing as that is the response you get back when there are no results... I'm assuming you tried the exact same query on this user as a different user?

Yes,
I have the following domains,
c1xx.com
r1xx.com
v1xx.com

Users in domain c1 can see users in c1 and r1, and r1 can se r1 and c1.
But v1 cannot see other domains and other domains cant see v1....

Ah ha, that is an entirely different situation then user1@domain.com not being able to see user2@domain.com in the GAL.

In fact to get c1 and r1 to see each other in the GAL you would have already needed to modify the GAL configuration since by default you can only see results from within your own domain.

I havent made any kind of changes in GAL access since diferent domains, will check the solutions in the like and get feedback in here as soon i can fix it.

Since all the domains belong to the same group i have enable gal access for all domains using the following command,
zmprov mcf zimbraGalInternalSearchBase ROOT

Strange is this issue just started happening with the last domain add-on i already have 4 before and worked perfectly without doing any of these steps.
