[SOLVED] ZIMBRA LOG error

I instal new ZCS 6.0.2 on clean DEBIAN LENNY 5.0
all is ok, but 3rd day after installation, when i click on Server statistics i get this error:
Server error encountered Message: system failure: Unable to read logger stats Error code: service.FAILURE Method: GetLoggerStatsRequest Details:soap:Receiver



zmcontrol status

antivirus Running
ldap Running
logger Running
mailbox Running
mta Running
snmp Running
spell Running
stats Running

but zimbra running OK, i can receive and send email allright,

i have same problem.

my zcs update from 5.0.19 to 6.0.2.

I hame same problem too with debian 5.0 (2.6.26-2-686) fresh install
zcs Release 6.0.2_GA_1912.DEBIAN5 DEBIAN5 FOSS edition.

I solved with this
as root :
apt-get install rsyslog
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmsyslogsetup

restart zimbra : zmcontrol stop and zmcontrol start

It's work for me very well.

hmmm, i allow port 22 in my iptables and all work fine

I have exactly the same issues, server statistics gives me that error and my server status shows red "X" next to everything but all else seems up and running just fine. I'm on 6.0.2 on a fresh fedora 8 install.

rsyslog is already installed, port 22 is open in iptables.

wtf is going on?

Ah fixed!:

ln -s /etc/rsyslog.conf /etc/syslog.conf

restart rsyslogd
