It would help us if you updated your profile with the following information so we know which version of ZCS you are running
Code:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v
Would you also please explain what the issue is and why you are having to restore

zimbra@server1:~$

If you have a complete cold backup of /opt/zimbra. Then shutdown ZCS, remove Zimbra using install.sh -u ... Once that is done install the same version again using install.sh -s so that it performs a dummy install ... then remove /opt/zimbra and copy back in your backup.

It might be an idea to fix this problem first before you decide to rebuild a server. Search the forums for details on how to enable the mailbox service.

I've removed Zimbra. / install.sh-u
and reinstall with. / install.sh-s
then copy the old folder and Zimbra

Code:
zimbra@server1:/root$ cd
zimbra@server1:~$ zmcontrol status
bash: zmcontrol: command not found
