Default Zimbra 6 slow sending emails.

We're evaluating Zimbra with the Zimbra Network Edition, and I've recently upgraded from v5 to v6. What I did to upgrade was to backup all emails, remove Zimbra 5, then install Zimbra 6, restore user data. I didn't need to do it this way but I thought that testing the disaster recovery would be good before going live with the product.

After the install of Zimbra 6, we've noticed that those using Zimbra are finding it very slow to send email. Calendar, receive email, contacts are all fine. Any Ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks

On my personal server (CE) and the office server (NE), Zimbra 6 seems faster. Which browser(s) do you use? We mostly use Firefox and Safari.

Which version exactly do you have installed? Please update your profile with the output of:
Code:
zmcontrol -v
Are you seeing any errors in /var/log/zimbra.log or /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log when users are trying to send mail?

We're using firefox, safari, IE 7, zimbra desktop. All are slow in sending email. When 'send' is clicked it will hang there long enough for the web client to time out. Zimbra desktop will just put it in the outbox for 2- 3 min.

Thanks

Please run the command I posted above on your Zimbra server and put the output in your profile.

Did you look in the log files I mentioned?
