Default [SOLVED] 'zmprov gaa' fails

I'm working on migrating from a Unix based mail system to Zimbra 6.0.
One of the things I would like to do is make sure that I don't import an account that is already in Zimbra.
From the documentation and web postings, it looks like 'zmprov gaa' will do exactly what I want.
Unfortunately, the following is what I get when I run 'zmprov gaa' as the zimbra user:
zmprov gaa
ERROR: service.INVALID_REQUEST (invalid request: can only be used with "zmprov -l/--ldap")

I can run 'zmprov gaaa' with no problems and it returns the admin user (I only have one right now).
There are a few test users created in addition to the built in ones (wiki, ham, spam).

This is my first Zimbra install so I figure that I must be doing something wrong, but I just don't have a clue as to what that would be.
Insights???
Thanks,
TomL

The error message tells you what you need to know. Run the command like this:

Code:
zmprov -l gaa
You can get details of the format with:

Code:
zmprov help
