32 bit Server - 64 bit Server Upgrade Plan

I know this has gotten a lot of coverage, but I want to make sure this plan sounds reasonable before proceeding. I am moving Zimbra from a 32-bit server (Ubuntu 6.06 LTS) to a new 64-bit server (Ubuntu 8.04 LTS).

I will call the servers NEW and OLD

1. Install 32-bit Zimbra 5.0.6 on NEW, matching the version with that of old
2. Delete zimbra files and copy over from OLD, make sure everything runs.
3. Upgrade Zimbra on NEW to 64-bit Zimbra 6.XX, make sure everything runs

Does this sound like a plan? I am going to try doing a test migration later this week using this method.

Please be so kind as to let me know your thoughts.

OLD: Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (32-bit), Zimbra 5.0.6, P4 3.8 GHz, 4GB RAM, SW RAID-1
NEW: Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (64-bit), Zimbra 6.X, Phenom II 3.0 GHz, 8 GB RAM, SW RAID-10

Thanks- I see that wiki says it is for Network Ed., do you know, will that procedure work for FOSS edition? Thanks.

Yes, it should work for both.
