Question zimbra mode

HELP ME PLEASE


The following command when donefrom the proxy server gave Java IO exception..while from ldap i could find the following..

[zimbra@ldap ~]$ zmprov getServer server.com | grep Mode

zimbraBackupMode: Standard
zimbraMailMode: mixed
zimbraMailReferMode: wronghost
zimbraReverseProxyImapStartTlsMode: on
zimbraReverseProxyMailMode: http
zimbraReverseProxyPop3StartTlsMode: on

What is ZimbraMailmode & zimbrareverseproxymailmode

Question

i have the proxy setup workign fine.. I would like to have https now and i tried Enabling Zimbra Proxy - Zimbra :: Wiki which coems with no results ..

Did you restart ZCS after making the changes; on both the mailstore and proxy ?

Its simply because you ran w/o -l . Proxy does a soap call. Use this: -

zmprov -l getServer server.com | grep Mode

Thanks a lot i ran the command and got the follwoing:

zmprov -l getServer server.com| grep Mode

zimbraBackupMode: Standard
zimbraMailMode: mixed
zimbraMailReferMode: wronghost
zimbraReverseProxyImapStartTlsMode: on
zimbraReverseProxyMailMode: http
zimbraReverseProxyPop3StartTlsMode: on

inorder to modify to https :zmprov ms proxy.server.name zimbraReverseProxyMailMode mixed is fine to perform on the server enabled with proxy services?

It doesnt seem to be with proxy enabled.

zimbraMailReferMode: wronghost
should have been reverse-proxied

How to change zimbraMailReferMode: wronghost..
The implementation was by another person and i am just catching up..

we have mta & proxy running on the same server
.zmcontrol status shows:
antispam Running
antivirus Running
imapproxy Running
mta Running
snmp Running
stats Running

How to proceed now? I wanted to change to https actually.
