[SOLVED] Cannot Send mail from Outlook 2007!!

Hi,

We are not able to send mails from OUTLOOK 2007 and error message is

Task - Sending' reported error (0X800CCC64): 'Cannot Send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties.'

Zimbra 6.0 open source version x64 bit. Please let me know how to solve this.

Check /var/log/zimbra.log to see why Postfix is rejecting the message.

Hi,

I have checked log file is not showing any errors only connecting from ip and disconnect from ip address while mail sending from Outlook 2007.

I have tested from outlook 2003 the error is "Relay access denied" i have enabled the "My server requires Authentication" in outlook but still the mail is relay accessed denied. what could be the problem?

It just showing the info in /opt/zimbra/log/audit.log

In /var/log/zimbra.log it showing

Oct 12 13:08:58 zimbra postfix/smtpd[11278]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[122.x.x.x]: 554 5.7.1 <fn@yahoo.co.in>: Relay access denied; from=<user@example.com> to=<fn@yahoo.co.in> proto=SMTP helo=<demo>

What port have you defined to be used within the Outlook Configuration ?

Hi,

I have entered the given command and the result is

[zimbra@zimbra ~]$ zmprov gacf | grep -i mtarestriction
zimbraMtaRestriction: reject_invalid_hostname

pop server as 110 and smtp as 25 in outlook configuration.

Use port 587 for the Submissions port (not 25) and TLS/SSL, you also should use IMAP rather than pop3.
