share contacts using command cli

i would avoid using web gui, i would share contacts using command line.
something like zmmailbox etc etc

which are the command to use, if any?

Which contacts are you talking about? The IM contacts or the Email Address Book contacts?

I have never ever heard of ...shared im contacts that ones are very personal, imho

i would know what should i use to share contacts, as well.

email, contacts, calendar are all folders in zimbra. so you use the same method to share any of htem.

zmmailbox -z -m account@mydomain.com mfg /Contacts domain mydomain.com r

theres an example that would share the /contacts folder of the account account@mydomain.com with the domain mydomain.com with read acess

zmmailbox -z -m marketing@mydomain.com createMountpoint --view contact /account-calendar account@domain.com /Contacts

That would create a folder called account-calender on the account marketing@mydomain.com that is the shared folder of account@mydomain.com (once shared with bdial's example)
