Default Log in failed on Zimbra Admin UI

    Hi,

Since a week, I can't log in on Zimbra Admin UI. The authentification is correct but the page freeze on "loading...". I've made no changes in my config, any updates.

    I've 2 errors but I don't understand them.
You can find in attachment to this post the file "errors.txt" which reports the 2 errors and files "1.txt" "2.txt" corresponding to error 1 and error 2.

Could you help me please to solve this problem ?

    Thank you !

From what I can gather from a google translate I would guess that something is wrong with the Samba admin extension, possibly some attribute is the wrong type... are you sure that you made no changes at all, and this just showed up one day?

Yes, it just appears one day.
    I've made no changes... That's why I don't understand and I don't find what's wrong.

    Default Log in failed ...

I've the same problem but it appeared after I deployed some new zimlets.
Now I go to the zimbraAdmin URL, I get the log-on page and login but am then left with a screen which says "done" as a page download but which remains stuck on "loading" as the page. I guess the page detail has become corrupted but what, where, how do I get further?
I've tried logging on as a different administrator but without success. I don't know any URL beyond this screen to see if I have actually logged in successfully and simply not getting the relevant page display.

rev.derek try deleting all cookies related to the admin console and see if that lets you log in.

Thanks for prompt reply - should I simply delete the directories at /opt/zimbra/jetty/webapps/service/zimlet or can you remind me of the undeploy command line? (ZCS v5)

No no no... I mean the cookies in your browser! Nothing at all to do with your server.

Also could you update your profile with the output of 'zmcontrol -v' as it is still showing "4.5"...

OK - I didn't install them in the browser and I use zdesktop. I don't get the admin screen in the first place so I can't do anything to them there which is why I thought you meant undeploy them.
I never did use anything prior to v5 so I don't know where that's come from, I'll take a look later - thanks.

What exactly is your problem? You previously stated that you were unable to access the Admin screen (https://your.domain.com:7071) due to you logging in and it sitting at "Loading" forever.

Now you are mentioning something about zimbra desktop? This should have no relationship to ZD....

You also say that you didn't install the extensions that broke whatever your problem is from the browser. How did you install them then? Command line?

    Sorry for confusing you.
You said about removing the zimlets from the browser. I assumed you meant the browser I use to interact as a user.
I can't open the browser on port 7071 beyond the log-in screen. I log in as any admin user and it then drops to a screen that says "Loading" and never goes further. So I can't get to remove the zimlets in the first place.
I added them by using the CLI with a long deploy statement that I found on the wiki and thought I could use the same CLI to undeploy and remove the zimlet though I don't see how that stops zimbraAdmin opening.

Is that any clearer or am I still wading through mud :-) ?
