Default Upgrade to 3.1.2 Suse 10 fails

After I run the upgrade evrethuing goes well, but afer a few hours I cannot send mail to gmail hotmail and may own domain and canoot recive mail from any domain (I backup my old version 3.1.1 and the new version 3.1.2). In my desperation I tried to unistall Zimbra and trying but the system cannot shutdown de MTA service, then I remove the rpm packages manually y then execute install.sh -u remove complettly the instalation. After tha that install a fresh instalation of Zimbra 3.1.2 but the mta doesnt start.

What can I do or what is the way to reinstall zimbra with my backup??? and what are the most importants folders from /opt/zimbra to be restored???

if subox.zapto.org is the zimbra server and postfix is not running (mta stopped), the messaging exception makes sense

is that all of the /var/log/zimbra.log? what is the output of "sh -x ~/bin/zmmtactl status"?
