We install and monitor the Zimbra software, quarterly updates or upon your request of course additional updates can be applied at anytime.
Outlook import support, command line support for Zimbra commands, hardware is under Smedia warrenty for 4 years.
The SAS drives are very nice, up to 36GB of Ram, though the Red Hat edition we install will only address 8GB. CPU series is the Xeon 5000 with 4MB cache on the Dual core CPU, we recommend using only 1 CPU unless your runnign against a SAN with 1000's of users. Memory is 3-4x faster as well since its fully buffered.

Hello Dan, thanks for your answer.
Does this mean the appliance is a 100% SMedia project (well, except Zimbra of course 8)) ?
We of course source the components from Intel, Maxtor, and others, however we do assemble the servers and setup Zimbra to ensure easy install. Our experience with Zimbra has help us choose the correct balance of Ram/CPU/Drives/System Bus. The hardware is exceptional. We only build our servers with the highest quality boards, chassis, drive backplanes, hard drives. The difference in price of low end components and server grade components is actually very little. We do include a 4 year warrenty as well.
