Default 6.0.1 Drag and Drop/Firefox addon

Can anyone get this to work?

Get or contribute Zimlets, UI themes, and languages in the Zimbra Gallery - Drag and Drop Firefox XPI

Thanks!

Nope can't get it to work here, Zimbra 6.0.1, firefox 3.5.3, XP pro. everything installs, and you can drop an attachment in the body of the compose window, but dropping it on the titlebar does not attach it. In the body it just puts in a file:// url, but don't think thats the add-on doing that.

drag and drop onto the briefcase works though. Which is cool!

sheeesh...so basically 6.0.1 broke it...sigh... that'll prevent us from ever going to 6.0.1....

Seams like it should be an easy fix...?

The files associated with the xpi look pretty simple...

Bug 24797 - DnD Zimlet need to take advantage of new compose window seems to be related to this, as Bug 39549 - ZimbraDnD not compatible with FF 3.5 & GnR was duped to it...

It wasn't clear...

Is bug 39549 related to the drag n drop of emails from folder to folder like in this post:Drag and Drop Emails in V6.0

And bug 39549 says it's closed!

I'm talking about the ability to drag n drop attachments into the compose window...

Please clarify your statement and/or the bug titles...

Thank you.

I was just trying to find a bug related to this problem, and yes I agree the bug titles and the text really aren't worded too well. 39549 was supposedly the bug relating to getting DnD to work with firefox 3.5, and after a fix was checked in it was marked as a duplicate of 24797, which from what I can see isn't really related...

Bug 40996 - DnD plugin/zimlet doesn't work in ZD2 at all which relates to the Zimbra Desktop client version 2 (based on the same framework as GnR I think) is also marked as a duplicate of 24797.

Basically it looks like they are putting all the problems with DnD not working into bug 24797, so if it's going to be fixed that looks to be the place to watch for updates on the situation.
