Default [SOLVED] Web Admin UI Server Status...offline?

From the CLI zmcontrol status reports all running...and everything functions ok.

But from the web admin ui, the server status is all red X out

I tried restarting the server, closing the browser, cleaning the cache...
all made no difference...

Is there a way to restart the server status for the web admin ui?

What's causing this? How do I fix it?

Thanks.

Same problem here, running Release 6.0.1_GA_1816.UBUNTU8 UBUNTU8 NETWORK edition. Restarting the server didn't help, any ideas?

I seem to recall having a similar problem way back on 4.5.x. I think the issue was one of the services showing as "running" on the command line, but it was really doing nothing.... hopefully that isn't your issue though as that install was horribly corrupted and beyond recovery. Also I can't remember which service it was
Are you getting lines like
Code:
Sep 30 11:01:00 email zmmailboxdmgr[2292]: status requested
Sep 30 11:01:00 email zmmailboxdmgr[2292]: status OK
In your /var/log/mail.log?

Just looked a few things up, as far as I can tell that status is controlled by this entry in the zimbra users cron:
Code:
*/2 * * * * /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmstatuslog
As far as I can tell that script basically just parses the output of `zmcontrol status` though... so the only thing I can think of is for some reason that script can't get output from that?

Yea, from the CLI everything reports ok and running....

I manually ran the cron job you posted and it completed ok.

made no difference

I'll see if I still have a 5.0.x VM lying around somewhere that I can test this with. This status checking got changed on 6.0.x so I can't check on my main server.
