Default LDAP authentication

Have installed 6.01 a week ago and ever since have had no end of trouble with authentication. We had 5.018 running for a long time with no problems but now I just cant work out what is going on.

It is installed on a Mac OSX 10.5.8 server and authenticating to a Mac OSX LDAP V3 server. We are now getting failed authentication do you want to enter password again or simple bind failed messages on our clients.

Can anyone lead me to where I should be looking or what things I can try.

Just an update as the server goes into its final death throws. It has crashed completely now. On restart the server doesnt believe it is a server anymore. No accounts, cant access admin page, nothing. And I thought I was bald before

Have tried running setup again but things are just going from bad to worse. am running zmsetup.pl -u and will try again.

This is the command line uninstall switch. If you use it, make sure you have a backup of your system first and take a copy of the backup out of the backup folder. -u will remove the whole zimbra folder.
