Default recovery send messages

hey guys i have a issue and i hope you can help me
i want to recovery send messages from one user at least in the last 3 months
This user already does not have his posts in the mailbox of sent.

When I review the folders that correspond to zimbra give me account that it follows growing the file temporal of the program, is as if they did not erase really the post of the mailboxes.

so how can i see if the temporal file contains the messages send of that user
And the question is, i need to know if it exists some way to recover these posts sent that already do not exist in the mailbox of the user

sorry for my bad english
Ubuntu 6.0 desktop
zimbra 4.5
