Default Zimbra 6 Master to Slave sync status

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what is the status of Zimbra 6 Master to Slave server realtime sync? I've read that this has been on the ToDo list for sometime and planned for Zimbra 6 release. From what I can see, it is in the Beta stage, but I can't find more information on this? I would be very interested to test it as my client is pushing us to implement this solution for sometime now.

Basically, we are after having a realtime replication of master server to the slave server located in the data centre. The idea is that if the main one is down for whatever reason, we can change the DNS records so that the the slave server becomes active until the master is back online. Having a backup MX record as the slave server is a bonus!

Any thoughts or howto on this?

Thanks
