zimbra@ms2:~/libexec$ zmlogger stop
bash: zmlogger: command not found
zimbra@ms2:~/libexec$
although zmlogger is in that directory.
same thing when I am as a regular user.

You need to provide the full path to that file.

I didnt think I need to provide a full path if I was in the working directory.

Code:
su - zimbra
cd /opt/zimbra/libexec
./zmlogger
if directory is not in path you need to specify source.

Default possible problem?

I tried all variations of zmlogger and get no result at all. I do however get a a result from zmlogswatchctl start
SO, I am just trying to sort this out in my head. What could be stopping zmlogger from running? If it is in libexec and I execute it as a zimbra user and I can execute all other cli functions for zimbra, or at least I can run the ones I tried what do I look for here with this problem? Is it possible this is related to the over all problem with logger/stats not working correctly? when I run top I can see that logger is running and it frequently goes to 100% and then drops back off to 25 - 50%
I am going to run the new update on this one box and see if anything changes....

The zmlogger process is meant for parsing files... it is thinking you are trying to input a file named "stop", and is telling you that it can't find it.
