Default spam from zimbra forums???

I just an email from what looks like a zimbra forum member... wanting me to help secure the 9 million dollars of which I could get half......
How, or why does someone use a forum to send spam like this? There cant be that many members to make it worthwhile.

I don't have PM going to my private email, but I just got an alert of new PM on these forums with the same message that you got. Nice! I freakin hate spammers!!!!
