I was using the admin tool for Indexing a user mailbox, the indexing got interrupted (browser crapped), not the user can't login and I can't restart the indexing using the web interface (just causes th browser to hang).
Any way to recover this?

I don't know much about the index process but have you tried stopping/starting zimbra nd then a reindex?

Bill
I did...no go. I tried a restore to a different user, it failed
It was my own fault...so I just blew away the user account and started over, luckily it was one of my own accounts

which version of the server was this? is it the network edition? check out this bug:
http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7725
Bug 7725 - indexing keeps mailbox locked while waiting for convertd
I've posted some comments over here:
http://www.zimbra.com/forums/administrators/1176-mail-account-corrupt-post20205.html
This seems to be the same issue. I would really like if someone could tell me if bugzilla contains some info on how to fix this (without deleting the account ...)
Bugzilla is searchable by us common folks...Originally Posted by konrad

maybe but I personnaly can't get acces to Bug 7725
I only get:

You are not authorized to access bug #7725.
You have a network edition so maybe you have a access to this one and can give me some info. That would be great, thanks.
If you are having a problem with the OS version of Zimbra you should file it in bugzilla, that way Zimbra can track it and you'll be informed of it's status. It won't matter if it's a duplicate of another bug, although you should do a search first. Don't forget to vote on any bugs you file.

Bill
I do not believe that filling duplicates in bugzilla is going to make anybody happy here.Originally Posted by phoenix
