Default Zimbra security using CAPTCHAS ?

    Hello there

I was wondering if it is possible to add a CAPTCHAS image to the authentication screen of zimbra ? or maybe have a proxy type page that will prompt for a captcha authentication then if succesfull it will provide the user's computer with a cookie that will enable them to go forward to the authentication page ?

I just need to have some extra security (hopefully an http proxy) before getting to the app ?

    Thanks

Which authentication method are you using? Internal or external?

It's possible to add something like this but we don't enable it by default. For example our hosted demo works like this and uses jcaptcha to verify users.

There's nothing to enable. You have to write it. Just saying it's possible.

    Default is there documentation ?

Is there any documentation to where to start from on the zimbra side ?

Lets say for example, I want to have page with a jcaptcha authentication form where the user will have to enter the challenge string, then if all correct, I am assuming, I can provide the user with a cookie (maybe a session) and forward them to the login page of zimbra. how would I make the zimbra login page load only if the cookie exists and if not forward back to initial page ?

is that even a viable scenario ?

Do a search for pre-auth it will let you do single signon.
