Narrowing it down ok, so I've had consistent email delivery for about 2 hrs in the middle of the day, however I'm still having some issues. looks like the flaky IMAP connections are due to a flaky external LDAP connection. On Zimbra 5.01X we had good external LDAP authentication to the same server that worked every single time, but now it sometimes will only connect and authenticate after about 3 tries. if I restart the Zimbra server it will work fine for a while, but then the authentication issues will start back up. |
