| | | not able to see "server data" option under folder size Hi Guys,
I am using open source edition of zimbra ( zcs 5.0.13 ) and our users are using MS Outlook to connect to mail server. When our users tried to check total mailbox quota utlization of their account through MS outlook "folder size" option they are not getting correct output.
We should get two option " local data" and "server data" option under "folder size" but we are not getting "server data" option.
Does it required outlook connector to sync the folder size and get server data details through outlook ???
Please help.
I hope i dropped my concern in right section..if not then please move to correct forum section.
Thanks and Regards,
KK |

| | Forget Tools->Mailbox Cleanup. Did you try Tools->Mailbox Quota? It's at the bottom of the tools menu, and it should have a Zimbra logo next to it. That has Zimbra server info. |

| | Sounds like an issue with our addin not being loaded correctly. Try these commands:
cd \Program Files\Common Files\system\MSMAPI\1033 [assuming USA locale]
regsvr32 /u /s LSMSSP32.dll
regsvr32 /u /s SharingAddin.dll
regsvr32 /u /s ShutdownAddin.dll
regsvr32 /s LSMSSP32.dll
regsvr32 /s SharingAddin.dll
regsvr32 /s ShutdownAddin.dll |

| | It sure sounds like this installation of ZCO is bad. I'll bet none of our menu items show (Help->About Zimbra Connector For Outlook, Tools->Zimbra Server Rules..., etc. This indicates that our addin isn't loaded.
5.0.13 is a pretty old version, if you can upgrade, I would. But in any case, I would uninstall this version of ZCO, and then reinstall and try again.
Is this Outlook 2003 or 2007? |

| | | As the original post said... this person is using the FOSS version of Zimbra, so of course the ZCO install is "bad", since it is impossible for it to exist in the first place. Unless of course you are running the Network Edition of Zimbra? Please update your user profile with the output of the command `zmcontrol -v` run as the zimbra user.
If you are on the FOSS version of Zimbra your users would need to be connecting via POP3 or IMAP. I have POP3 disabled so I can't test with that, but setting up Outlook 2007 all I can figure out how to show is the total used space of mail on an account. I can't see a place in Outlook that shows your your allowed quota from the server, if that is what you were asking for. |

| | | Hi,
I have updated my profile. My zcs setup version is
Release 5.0.13_GA_2791.RHEL5_64_20090206123226 RHEL5_64 FOSS edition
We have enabled TLS connection and IMAP / POP with ssl and users are using MS outlook 2003 and MS outlook 2007 with IMAP ( 993 ).
We are using open source edition..so please let me know is possible to get folder size details in FOSS edition ? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | Why Join?
