    Default Is the messages returned dynamic?

    Is the setting set by a user or the admin for returning the number of messages (i.e. 25, 50, 100) configurable by the sys. admin (i.e. can it be configured to return more, for example, 500, 1000 or all)?

    The list is static. It can be defaulted to one of the values in the Admin UI (under COS -> Prefs). Zimbra is designed around search. So it's rare you should ever need more than 25/50 messages since the search is powerful enough to get right to what you want/need. Allowing more than 100 will start to see sluggish behavior on slower machines so we keep folks from falling into that trap. IF you *really* need to have more than 100 then you could change the code but we don't recommend it.

    One of my users is used to his outlook where he can get to a message, he says a lot quicker. He has over 1000 mail messages in his inbox. I guess the outlook webmail browser allows a user to choose a message by number. For example, I think it displays: 13 of 500. Allowing the user to change the 13 to whatever he/she wants. Maybe this is a feature that could be added to zimbra?? Thanks.

    Does this user really remember mail messages by the index in the mailbox?!?! I sure hope not. I've got ~70,000 messages in my inbox. So not sure navigating by message id/index would work.
