Default Can't send attachment (song)

Hello,

I have very very unusual problem, from 4 hours my user can't retrieve e-mail with attachment.

Fail attachment :
size: 5 mb
type: .mp3

First i think it might me a message size problem.
- But no, tested on bigger attachment.

We rebooted server about 5 times.

Don't have clue.

After all tests, we find what attachment make this problem.
(first we send, about 10ns, but we try one per one and find that one what make problem)

Download (we test it for virus, and it looks for clean)

(please, someone who use Zimbra, download it and send from remote server, like google) to you're Zimbra server account.

I would like know is this only my problem (configuration), or some bug.

Regards

It works fine for me, I can send it via gmail and download it from the Zimbra Web UI or Zimbra Desktop. What error messages do you see in the log files? What error messages do you see when you try to download the attachment? What is the maximum size for messages on your Server? I assume this is with ZImbra Collaboration Suite?

This message is blocked on server, it don't pass to account (webmail).
It's blocked "somewhere" but i don't get any (response, for example i should get "Delivery error", but i don't get it, that's why i'm so nervous for that.

If i know "message not send", but there message is sended and get into black hole.

You don't have to repeat it, I read it the first time. I also asked you what the maximum message is for download, what's the answer? Does this only happen with this type of file extension? Has it just started happening? I assume you've also disabled AppArmor on this server?

I assume you have valid DNS records for your server? Run the following (on the Zimbra server) and post the output:
Code:
cat /etc/hosts
cat /etc/resolv.conf
dig yourdomain.com mx
dig yourdomain.com any
host `hostname` <-- use that exact command with backticks not single quotes

Maximum message size is about 200 MB.

This attachment have 5 mb.

I try send 50 mb, everything pass.
Try other song - pass.
try - rar, mp3, avi, wma ( over 20 mb ) pass

this song above + other files -> don't pass
only this song -> don't pass

you try to find, error in wrong place.

Something is wrong with that file, only that.

If i add this song into archive - it's working

Problem is in AntiSpam or AntiVirus.

But "left it", i will just post message to don't send this song by email because it will be deleted without notification.

This will be faster than make fun with server.

I hope only this file don't pass, and only this feew mail disappear :>

Well, the file passed the a/v & a/s on my system as I said I was able to receive and download (and play) that file with the web ui & ZD. So as you seem to know where the problem is I'll leave you to it.

Exclamation Unnable to send messages through desktop client with attachments

I am having a fairly general issue with the same kind of problem.
My users with the desktop client or the MS Outlook integration are experiencing issues sending attachments. These messages can be sent through the web client, but not the desktop.

I have checked values for email sizes and they are 15MB. the files range from 1MB to 11MB that are failing. Types are everything from PDF, MP3, and XLSpreadsheets.
