Post Zimbra and Proftpd LDAP authorization

Good day, after one problem solved we encountered another.
As right now we try to set Proftpd with Ldap authorization to Zimbra server.
We have already set up Htaccess in apache2 with ldap succesifuly.

Right now the problem is that in log files we see that connection is made but uid search query doesn't find any users... maybe i need to change objectclass to any specific field ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but did you ever manage to get ProFTPd to auth against Zimbra's internal LDAP server?
We're thinking of doing the exact same thing and already have HTTP basic auth with LDAP working in Apache, I had to clean up the Zimbra Apache LDAP wiki article a bit in the process.

Cheers, B

And a way to associate mailto: handlers with a Zimbra Prism webapp

Hello,

No problem with resurrecting an old thread. Nice to hear that there are also ppl trying to do the same.

HTTP is working fine, as i said, uid queries and etc everything fine.
Proftp LDAP nope. It would be great that you gave any information if you will succeed.
