Default limit size message per account

Hello all,
i'm newbie on zimbra
just have finished my 1st zimbra installation
everything works great
but i just wondering is there any way to limit message size per account?
ex: account A can send/receive max 10Mb, account B can only send/receive max 1 Mb
cause i have searched everywhere in zimbra console and don't found anything
every answer will be greatly appreciate

Set your system maxsize to 10Mb and then on the individual account you want to be different you can adjust the amavis setting.
Code:
zmprov ma accountB@domain.tld amavisMessageSizeLimit 1048576

This does not restrics the sending message size but blocks receiving mails above the specified size. Please assist me anything needs to be done.

I have set 10MB in Global Settings both at Message size and Attachement size.

And the command "zmprov ma account@domain.com amavisMessageSizeLimit 1048576" for 1 MB.

This only affects the receiving size of messages. Sending size is a per MTA limit, and is trickier to deal with.

yeah, you're right brian
after i try again, it's only have effect on receiving
but when we send message larger than numbers of kb that we set in amavisMessageSizeLimit before, it reads the global mta setting which is 10mb
i think this thread isn't solved yet

Hi There,

I agree this thread is not solved yet....

I have the same issue in that I want to set the global limit to 10MB and have one or two accounts that can send 50MB mails, this is for an Untangle server send me reports every morning at 04:00.

How can this be done guys???

me too very new to zimbra and i was struggling to assign per user attachment size, now it works nicely thanks
now I need to assign attachment size to a distribution list. any idea of doing that??
i have used
zmprov mdl accountB@domain.tld amavisMessageSizeLimit 20480
but it doesn't give any sense, di i need to use any other content filtering attribute???
please help me to solve this
