Default Time zone / log timestamp issue

I've noticed a problem with timestamps in the logs found in /opt/zimbra/log, which are off by 1 hour. System logs in /var/log are correct. For example, date shows this:

Tue Aug 11 09:17:08 PDT 2009

/opt/zimbra/audit.log shows:

2009-08-11 08:17:21,668 WARN [Pop3Server-39030]

and /var/log/mail.log shows:

Aug 11 09:17:52 webmail postfix/smtpd[14952]

Another clue is the display in the webadmin UI server status display, which shows "updated" as 9:17am, but the status of each service is shown as 10:17am.

It seems there is a timezone issue somewhere, but I'm not sure where to look.

This is ZCS 5.0.18 NE on Ubuntu 8.04 64bit.
