Question [SOLVED] RHEL4 -> RHEL5 on new server

Hi,

We are hoping to move from RHEL4 -> RHEL5 (64bit) on a new server
will Moving ZCS to New Server - Zimbra :: Wiki sill work?

Is it a good idea to wait until 6.0 is released or should we move 5.x and upgrade to 6 on the new server?

It works like a charme. I did it some days ago with a 10.000 User System with no issues.

There is one thing:
make sure, that the zimbra UID in the new System is the same as on the old system. zmfixperms will not change the ownership of /opt/zimbra/store (afaik) and this could be a big problem...

Whatever you do, the zimbra version on the old and the new system must be identical.
