Default [SOLVED] nessage store not showing recent messages

hi,

i'm having a problem understanding how exactly the message store works... below is a copy of mine... it shows all messages till aug 5.. after that it doesn't show anything... ((although the mails are showing in the mailboxes))
do i need to create a new store or something??

That is the creation date on the folder; so you would need to look further down the tree.

what i'm trying to figure out here is on what basis the messages are filed/indexed/categorized.... it seems random to me....... i have 91 mailboxes... how do i find mail for any particular one without oing through each and every mail

that helps... but how do i log into mysql.... i didnt have it on my system earlier & zimbra automatically installed it.... there was password created while installing...

how do i find out which port it's at ??

thanks...

that works... one further question... can i set a password for mysql?? how??? will zimbra pick it up automatically or do i have to reconfiure it??

Hi.. thanks for the reply i have changed the mysql password using the command "zmmypasswd --root newpass" but the thing is im still able to login via guest user of mysql using the command "mysql"... i want to disable guest login and want to allow only root login for the mysql....
also can i change the user of mysql from root to some other?????
