Default Folders Gone in Advanced Interface

I've looked over the forums and couldn't find anything quite like what I'm seeing...

I have a user that added an external POP account without any problem. Zimbra began to download the messages from the POP server but must have encountered a corrupt message and stopped.

Now, when looking through her Preferences, the External Account settings for the POP server are gone. I wouldn't worry too much about that, but her folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc.) are also missing. In fact, everything between the 'New Folder' button and the Calendar is gone (including the Zimlets bar, etc.).

To make things more interesting, if you switch to the 'Standard Account', the folders are there, including the external POP account's folder, and all of the messages that were existing are there, but the External Account settings are still missing in Preferences.

I've reindexed the account and restarted the services without any change.

I'm new to the Zimbra scene so I'm not even really sure where to start looking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem. Just installed about 1 week ago.
Only one of the accounts has this symptom and is the exact same as explained above.
Also tried changing themes and checked from different computers and OS

We're not using Firefox, Skype or Windows. We're using Mac clients, and I tried using both Safari and Firefox with the same effect.

Default Same

We have no addon's running and we've tried multiple computers with various OS's
Ubuntu 8 & 9 with Firefox
Windows Vista sp1 with Firefox IE7
Mac 10.4 safari + firefox.

More info:
Basic account...with a few zimlets added...but disabled on problem account.
Added in external POP account.
Noticed before folders disappeared that POP mail was not collecting. Today we noticed that the external pop account was missing. When trying to add it back..it said something about an existing data store.
So we added it as another 'name'. The external pop account just vanishes after a few minutes. It passes the test when saving the pop account.
I cannot seem to find anything in the zimbra.log?

Thanks!

Default Degradation of available service

Now the user in question cannot see any of the info panels on the left side.
First email folders were gone.
Now calendar is gone.

User can no longer add tasks or calendar items to shared account.

Any ideas.

Default yes

login as problematic user
export account (backs up to downloadable tgz).
delete account and zmcontrol stop
zmcontrol start
create account
import account (from backup file)

The export/import feature of zimbra's web client has made up for the technical problems and anomalies I've seen in 5 & 6!
The export takes everything with it! mail filters, calendaring, shared info, etc.
We tested this on a dummy account and when running it on a live account, I couldn't find anything missing.

anyway, that's how we solved it.

We just had a user run into the same thing. Firebug showed the following error from Startup2_all.js:
Code:
E.lastError is undefined
(5033 out of range 1379)
We have the same behavior with the folders not showing in advanced view, but showing in standard. According to zmprov, there's two external POP accounts associated with this user, but there's none showing in Preferences. I'll post back when we figure out more..

Sounds like manually removing the defunct data sources manually via zmprov fixed the folder display issues for our user. I have no idea what caused the problems in the first place, though..
