Default Webdav - can't upload files

Hi,

I've the following Problem. When I connect via webdav to my briefcase with the following address http://zimbra.xxx.com/dav/fschloegl@xxx.com/Briefcase, Mac OS X and Windows XP (with Netdrive) can mount the Briefcase without any problem. I can create new folders and can delete folders. But I can't upload a file. When I upload a file I get the following error with Netdrive: XML parse error at line 3: no element found
Under Mac OS X I get also an error message. Has anyone else the same problem or knows how I can fix it?

Thanks
Florian

Quick question - why are you using NetDrive? I'm not a Mac person, but thought they could do webdav natively, and I know WinXP can, as I can (and do) use that here on my PC (albeit there are a host of issues with it, esp. if you have MS Office installed, and it depends on what version, etc).

Anyway, this sounds more like a compatability question with netdrive and zimbra, esp. as you get the same error on both the mac and xp versions....

Sounds like you are probably hitting this bug: Bug 24178 - davfs2 can't create/copy files via Zimbra WebDav which has been fixed in 6.0.0_RC1_1656 and up.

any update on this? did you ever fix?

I'm trying to use WebDAV as well but with no luck.

If I mount I can create dirs, remove dirs, read files but not modify them!

Using 6.0.1OSS.

Default Created a bug report

I just created a bug report for this issue.

We are paying for this piece of software, which is useless to us without this feature.

Bug 42372 – WebDAV is not working
